Default login as zimbra has permissions error

Morning,

I have installed ubuntu 8.04 and zimbra again.

When I try to login as zimbra I'm again getting 644 permissions errors on the zimbra users home folder. Essentially it says that $home must be owned by user and not be writable by others. Ubuntu then dumps me back out to the login.

Is this normal? Do I need to log in as the zimbra user? Is the zimbra account just not being set up properly? During install I'm not prompted to make a password for it nor have I found in the documentation if there is a default password that is created. So I set the password manually myself. Perhaps this is part of the trouble?
