Hello!

Been asking myself how to do this as well.

I've got a production env. with Zimbra 5.0.10 on SLES 10 - 64bit. What i'd like to do is upgrade the core OS to SLES 11 64bit and then Zimbra to 6.0.2.

For this, i've set up a test env. with the copy of the production server. It's on a separate network with different Zimbra hostname etc.

After upgrading SLES 10 to SLES 11 Zimbra (the 5.0.10 version) stopped working. I thought of this to be expected, since the install was made on SLES 10. So i downloaded the 6.0.2 for SLES 11 and tried to upgrade.

That's the Error i get when running the upgrade:
Code:
Do you want to verify message store database integrity? [Y]

mysqld is alive

mysqld is alive
Killing mysqld with pid 18996 done.
After that, the installer just quits to prompt.

If anyone has any ideas on how to approach the upgrade i'd be very grateful .

Regards,
David
