That's why you wouldn't support it, as I previously suggested. You would just provide the patch files, with a disclaimer specifying this is totally unsupported and only for "testing purposes". The code would already be in the source tree, it's just a matter of you releasing it.
I'd bet there a few people out there willing to
take the chance, if the bug is grave enough. For example this bug (from the messages on PM) only a matter of patch two .
js files. There's another bug out there (due to be fixed in 6.0.3) bug id 42127, where there actually is a patch available on PM, easily applied and completely fixes the problem. Why couldn't this be standard practice?
