An authenticated user can get and send email from any external IP address via a Zimbra server. If you're having a problem then I'd suggest you address that rather than trying a VPN or any modification to MyNetworks setting. This subject has been covered many times in the forums, search the forums first and try some of the suggestions to resolve that problem.
