I have the same problem. It arose when a new installation clearly failed to remove the previous one. It's stuck in the control panel "add/remove" programmes and when I click to remove, it tries to install but never gets started.
I've completely removed the old installation and re-installed but still get the same error - I'll try atacking the registry next!
It's a bit of a killer, really, particularly since every user has to have their own installation, even with Linux.
Mulberry's not much better and has calendar sync and alarm issues so that's not a way out for me. (When I sync the calendar it opens thousands (literally) of alarm notifications.) |
