I believe this is fixed in this bug:
Bug 40792 - "org.mortbay.io.RuntimeIOException: java.io.IOException: Closed" while login to zimbra
I'm not entirely sure whether this was actually fixed in 6.0.1, or will be in 6.0.2 but it looks like it is safe to ignore it as it was just a debug log event that was left in.
