Setup split DNS on the 6.0.1 test server so all of the domain entries point to it of course
It will be the only server seeing these results. As for accessing it, you will probably have to type in the IP address directly, rather then accessing it via the domain names, as the domain entries will resolve to the real server on your workstation. That, or you could do what you said and just do a network directly between the 6.0.1 server and your machine, but you would still need to setup split DNS on it for that to work as well.
