firstly i do use yahoo, gmail and hotmail. now you said yourself, that hotmail is forcing people to use the most primitive of mail access - POP - and if zimbra cannot support the most primitive of accesses then what is the point. i can access my live mail just fine through thunderbird or any other mozilla client, but zimbra. so i dont see why claiming that "oh they only support pop, thats so lame" is a good excuse. just lookup how thunderbird supports hotmail pop "with" leaving messages on server, and implement that.

also, im still better off with hotmail than with yahoo because at the very least hotmail gives me pop. yahoo does not even offer that free. the only client one is forced to use is zimbra, which is crippled by the bad hotmail support. so saying that i should shift from hotmail to yahoo does not even make sense, i will go from an average provider to a poor one as far as mail access is concerned.
