I've spoken with dantawn about the issue. Just for clarification:
He's trying to install the Zimbra Desktop client on his mac - not set up an account. At the beginning of the installation process, he is prompted for his mac user account password. He doesn't have a password assigned to his user account on his mac. Leaving the password field blank doesn't appear to be working.
Hope that clears things up...
I'm wondering if the installer balks if the mac user account has a blank password. I'd try it on a test account on my mac but since I've got it installed already and
RFE 27936 is still in progress, I don't think it would do me much good.
