Default qmail+LDAP and Zimbra in common domain

Hi All,

I have a similar requirement for having a few users in Zimbra. Currently I have a qmail server running with OpenLDAP. I want to migrate a few qmail accounts to Zimbra, while others to continue in the existing qmail server. Both should refer to the common LDAP Server and should be on the same domain (example.com).

I have installed the zimbra sever and it's working fine. However, it could not communicate with qmail server (both in same domain, same LDAP, separated by mailHost attribute in LDAP).

I need to gradually migrate qmail users to zimbra, say around 200 users every day.
I read about split domain, which requires provisioning of all qmail accounts on zimbra server, which is not possible for me, since I have more than 4000 users in qmail. I want to run these 2 servers in parallel for some time for the same domain.

Please suggest.

Regards,
SaN
