I ran another experiment today:
I was using IMAP for my Apple Mail (Leopard) client. Today, I created a new mailbox in Apple Mail, but instead of IMAP, I configured it as an Exchange mailbox, using the Zimbra web access server URL as the Outlook web access server (btw, this is how my iPhone mail is configured). It worked for a while, but no joy now.
I did notice that when I deleted a msg, it did trigger a download on my iPhone, implying that an "event" did occur (I was able to see this behavior many times). The msg just didn't move to the Trash mailbox. |
