Let's take this in small steps. I think your confusing the problem by trying to test so many things at once. Dump the account/domain data for steve@dom1 and john@dom2 and post it here.

For this you do need to edit the config files You'll probably want:

Sure is. We are working on that for a future release. Feel free to file any requests into bugzilla. Please enter each request in separately. This way it's easier to track. Also do a search to make sure there isn't already a duplicate.
