You're not giving much information that's of any use here. Have you installed the exact same version of Zimbra on the new box? Is it on the same release of Ubuntu? What information do you see in the
log files?

It's always good practice to take a backup but a recovery plan should also involve trial runs of restoring a crashed system to make sure you're familiar with the process.
