 Possible work around
I thought had the same issue with a fresh install of 8.04 and Zimbra 5.0.9
I rebooted and kept checking /var/log/zimbra.log. I realized that Zimbra was starting, it was just taking about 6 minutes to fully get started. I was getting impatient every time, thought it had failed to start, and manually started it.
I am running it on very old hardware... |
