I had the same problem though mine is an issue with an existing openfire installation. After installing Zimbra, my openfire cannot use port 5222 anymore. It's being used by Zimbra zmailboxd.
Do you have by any chance run an XMPP server on the same server?
Try shutting down your XMPP and try Zimbra. |
