New Forums Feature: Mark as [SOLVED]

We consider our forums much like a support ticket database. Each thread representing a ticket. We've always tried to make sure every thread gets an answer. Well, we're happy to introduce a new feature on the forums that we hope that everyone uses. It's the "Mark as [SOLVED]" feature.

Zimbra Collaboration Suite 5.0 Beta 3

We're very happy to announce the availability of the next generation of Zimbra Collaboration Suite: 5.0 Beta 3. This beta is open for testing in the Open Source version only. As Beta, and we do not recommend that users run this on production systems, as there are several known issues.

Shared Folders

Zimbra supports shared calendars, documents, and address books. . .but there was one thing missing: Shared Mail Folders. With 116 votes, this enhancement is number 9396 (but really started with bug 6561), and has been around since ZCS 3.0. This has been one of the most requested features to ever hit our bugzilla.

A Newer Conversation View

How many times have you engaged in a conversation over e-mail? Typically, these conversations result in several e-mails that push everything else in your inbox downward. Thats where our Conversation View came into play. In Zimbra 5.0, we're changing it a bit.

I don’t think it’s any secret that people like the ability to get their e-mail from anywhere, and they find it equally important to get their files anywhere as well.

Zimbra Standard Client

In Zimbra Collaboration Suite 5.0, we've introduced a more streamlined way to access the different flavors of the Zimbra Web Client. More specifically, we've done a lot of work on our Standard Client, formally the "Lite-Client".
